What is love in 2023? At the time of dating applications, all digital, it sometimes seems so complicated to love. And yet this feeling says a lot about us, our societies and their evolution.

Five years after #MeToo, an unprecedented movement for the liberation of women’s speech following the accusations against Harvey Weinstein, what evolution has there been in the relationship to the couple? Has heteronormative sexuality been questioned?

Between 2009 and 2017, the rate of couples met online increased from 22% to 39%. The Pew Research Center estimated in 2019 that 50% of young Americans between the ages of 18 and 29 have used a dating application. And the pandemic has accelerated the phenomenon. Tinder has become the queen of the sector with 75 million monthly users worldwide. Have dating apps liberated people or, on the contrary, alienated them? How do they influence relationships?
