Marseille and Nice meet again on Wednesday February 9 (9:15 p.m.) at the Allianz Riviera, five and a half months after the match which had degenerated following a bottle throw on Dimitri Payet. These excesses had resulted in the loss of a point in the championship for the Aiglons. A point which today corresponds to the gap in the standings between Marseille, second, and Nice, third in Ligue 1.
Tonight’s game won’t bring any points but will propel one of the two teams into the semi-finals of the Coupe de France. Conversely, OM, worrying in Lyon, were able to recover against Angers on Friday, winning largely (5-2) thanks to a hat-trick from Milik.
