A meeting with all faiths. Emmanuel Macron and the Minister of the Interior receive the president of the Buddhist Union of France, the president of the Confederation of Bishops of France, the president of the Central Jewish Consistory, the Chief Rabbi of France, the rector of the Great Mosque of Paris, the president of the Union of Mosques of France, the president of the Assembly of Orthodox Bishops of France and the president of the Protestant Federation of France.

A major mobilization. Around 105,000 people in Paris, and a total of 182,000 across France, demonstrated on Sunday to show their rejection of anti-Semitism in the face of the explosion in the number of acts hostile to Jews since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas on October 7.

A notable absence. On RTL, the president of the National Rally Jordan Bardella regretted the absence of Emmanuel Macron at the big march against anti-Semitism in Paris, judging that the head of state had “missed an appointment with history”.
