Since 1992, the Dino-Zoo dinosaur theme park has been entertaining young and old in an exceptional natural setting. Along a 2.5 km route, discover a hundred dinosaurs, pterosaurs and other prehistoric reptiles. An ambient sound system immerses you in the heart of the Jurassic period.
The environment in which they lived is respected and as much as possible, the vegetation recreated. Great importance has been given to the landscape: clearings, undergrowth, waterfalls, bodies of water, rocks, streams, forests…
Priority is given to European prehistoric animals, the most representative of which is the plateosaurus, the oldest known in France and the largest of its time, the fossil remains of which have been found in the Jura Mountains.
The route is dotted with explanatory panels translated into English, German and Dutch. The dinosaur trail is also a walk in a family park and one theme park fun, in the Burgundy Franche-Comté region, in the Doubs between Besançon and Pontarlier. The Jura Mountains are marked bydinosaur story. It is here that the remains of the plateosaurus and many fossils dating from prehistoric times were found. The famous geological period of the Jurassic takes its name from the Jura massif on which the largest fossil footprints of dinosaurs.

A gigantic novelty is coming to Dino-Zoo for the park’s 30th anniversary: Seismosaurus. A giant dinosaur with a length of 50 meters. This “earth-shaking reptile” lived during the Upper Jurassic period and is to be discovered as soon as possible. Don’t miss this exceptional event!
