The day will be a golden opportunity for young enthusiasts and the most neophyte to rub shoulders with some of the best in the field. First, the activity will be reserved for young people from the JM Court and Tyndale St-Georges community organizations from 10 to 11 a.m. Then, for the next hour, the site will be open to everyone. The Vans company will even offer equipment to those who will be on their first experience. Olympian Annie Guglia will notably be there.

“Skateboarding has been very important throughout my life. It allowed me to grow and live many beautiful experiences. It will be a pleasure for me to introduce these young people and make them realize that they too can skate,” she explained in a press release.

For Alex Auchu, Marketing Director at Vans Canada, which organizes the event, it was essential to set up such an event: “It is essential for us to make skateboarding accessible and to allow young people from all walks of life to have the chance to immerse themselves in this culture. »

The Dime Glory Challenge will then take place to the delight of fans.
