Six weeks before the legislative elections, the big maneuvers have already begun on the left around La France insoumise, Friday, April 29.

Jean-Luc Mélenchon (LFI), Julien Bayou (EELV), Fabien Roussel (PCF) and Olivier Faure (PS): these four actors from the left are on the same stage. The union play is currently being played ahead of the legislative elections, which will take place on June 12 and 19. The last twist took place at midday, Friday April 29: the Socialists slammed the door after a new meeting at the headquarters of La France insoumise (LFI), in the 10th arrondissement of Paris.

“At this stage, we have a number of points of disagreement that we noted this morning”said Pierre Jouvet, in charge of negotiations for the Socialist Party. However, everything had started well. In a document that France 3 obtained, the PS spoke of convergences with La France insoumise, such as the minimum wage at 1,400 euros net, retirement at 60 or the repeal of Myriam El Khomri’s labor law. Faced with the anger of former socialist tenors, who see it as a right to inventory the Hollande five-year term, the boss of the PS, Olivier Faure, has decided to suspend the talks, but according to La France insoumise, there is nothing wrong. insurmountable, as Manon Aubry, LFI MEP, explained.
