To lose a few pounds before summer, should you opt for intermittent fasting? This diet, which consists of skipping one meal a day, is the big trend right now. Is it safe?

He chose to skip meals to lose weight, and already sees 20 kilos less on the scale. “The first few days are a little hard, because you feel hungry, but it’s cyclical. When you get the body used to not eating at certain times, after a while you are hungrier at those times.” he explains.
Philip garnero only eats one meal a day. “You have to force yourself to choose what to eat to stay in shape”explains the computer scientist, explaining that he makes sure to eat protein, fiber and foods with vitamins. However, there are real risks with intermittent fasting: deficiencies, anorexia. “There are people who are not able to do it”warns Dr. Arnaud cocaulnutritionist.
