Didier Barbelivien happy to see Slimane represent France
“It’s funny because you were talking about bad choices regarding the floods and I think Slimane to represent France is a very good choice”, he confided to journalist Céline Géraud, not hiding his relief after hearing the first words of Didier Barbelivien : “Ah, you scared me! I was like, oh my!”. Once the doubts were gone, the 69-year-old songwriter assured that it was a “excellent choice”because for him, although it is a song competition, the performer matters a lot.
