Do we want to cuddle with our partner when we try to survive on a desert island? This is the question that the candidates of the new season of the Apprentice Adventurers on W9 as well as fans of the program. Precisely, Laurent Maistret, new host of the show, shared some confidences on this subject during his stay in the Buzz TV from TV Mag.
A few days ago, the one who was most talked about for his prowess in Koh Lantawas already speaking to give his opinion on the casting, in which we will notably find Jessica and Thibault, Christopher and Océane, or even Adixia and Simon, in order to indicate how they had behaved. “I motivate them or reframe them when necessary. I’m a very funny person, but you mustn’t get upset. Sometimes I had to intervene…”he explained to our colleagues from TV 7 Days before making a funny revelation: “Some of them didn’t know who I was and started to address me as you. They were all very respectful and gave their 200%, because I can tell you that it’s not easy to survive at heart of a hostile nature and far from its unusual way of life”.
No somersaults under the duvet
And Laurent Maistret knows what he’s talking about, he who “survived” several times in the survival program of TF1. He also knows that the libido is “at the bottom of the panties” in this kind of adventure. But is this also the case in The Apprentice Adventurers ? Not so sure to believe the rest of his statement. Although the host specified that “it’s like in Koh-Lanta, we don’t necessarily want during the adventure to have the little extra in terms of meeting”he admitted, however, that “maybe at the beginningphysical rapprochements could have taken place between some.
“The first days maybe, but when they start to be in trouble, I can tell you that it’s not their priority”, he acknowledges. He will therefore follow the rest of the episodes of Apprentice Adventurers to find out whether or not candidates have taken the opportunity to get closer.
