In his videos, he claimed to give regular news from the Ukrainian front, because, he said, he served the Russian army and had been sent to Ukraine. By using digital devices, in particular deepfakes, a user of the Chinese social network Douyin deceived Internet users by inventing this military daily newspaper from scratch, which allowed it to garner hundreds of thousands of subscribers.
