This Sunday, December 12, at 12:39 am precisely, Diane Leyre was crowned Miss France 2022 after more than three hours of show. It is therefore Miss Ile-de-France who was elected among 29 contenders for the zenith of Caen and who succeeds Amandine Petit. She was ahead of Miss Martinique (Floriane Bascou) first runner-up, Miss Alsace (Cécile Wolfrom) second runner-up, Miss Tahiti (Tumateata Buisson) third runner-up and Miss Normandie (Youssra Askry) fourth runner-up. The 24-year-old offers her region a victory for the first time since … since the coronation of Patricia Spehar in 1997! “I brought the crown home!”, she reacted following her victory over TF1.
From the height of her meter 77, the beautiful brunette graduated one year from a Bachelor (Bac + 4) in Business Administration at IE University. Diane Leyre became a real estate agent for Jadley, a Parisian agency located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. This fan of fitness and novels, as she pointed out to Le Parisien, is trilingual since she is fluent in English and Spanish.
If the young woman registered for the Miss France contest was partly thanks to her cousin, Illana Barry … Miss Languedoc-Roussillon 2020. “She told me a lot of good about this experience and my friends urged me to participate in Miss France”, she explained to TVMag.
And for those who are wondering if Diane Leyre is single, the answer is “yes” “I have a heart to take, but more than 67 million French people have taken their place in it recently …”, told Paris Match the one who will be on the JT of 13 hours of TF1, Monday December 13.
