Why is this wrong?

Contacted by Désintox, the entourage of Emmanuel Macron denies these allegations and explains that “the President does not take off his watch for the sake of concealing it but because he had just banged it brutally against the table”. Indeed, we hear this noise during the interview.

Regarding the luxurious model of his watch, our interlocutor explains that it is“a Bell & Ross BR V1-92 watch personalized with the coat of arms of the Presidency of the Republic”which he has worn on other occasions and which “obviously does not cost 80,000 euros”. On the Internet, we find the non-personalized version of this watch at 2,400 euros.
