The coffin of the famous number 10, who died on April 22 of lung cancer, will leave the Bell Center at 10:30 a.m. The procession will be escorted by the Montreal police and the celebration will begin at 11 a.m. at the place of worship.
Monsignor Christian Lépine will preside over the ceremony along with Cardinal Gérald Cyprien Lacroix. Designated spaces outside the cathedral will be prepared and giant screens will be installed.
