The advent of digital technology has marginalized a good number of elderly people, who have a hard time getting used to new technologies. Consequently, many seniors denounce the all-digital diktat, and protest against the administrative procedures which have become more and more digital.
“I feel incapable. It stresses me out because yes, I have the impression of being let down by all this technology “, enraged Jacqueline Filliat, a resident of Ehpad in Villeurbanne (Rhône). Others, like Monique Bresson, who was scammed, give up. This situation annoys older people more and more, even if assistance centers exist. They want to prevent the dematerialization of procedures.
