Desjardins | Technical problems make several services inaccessible

(Montreal) Several Desjardins services, including the AccèsD site as well as card and ATM transactions, are affected by technical problems that are preventing them from operating normally on Saturday afternoon.


Around 4 p.m., Desjardins confirmed to The Canadian Press that the AccèsD site was unavailable, and that card and ATM transactions “are working intermittently”.

According to Jean-Benoît Turcotti, senior public relations advisor at Desjardins, the problems began in the middle of the afternoon on Saturday. Mr. Turcotti, however, did not wish to specify what were the causes of the technical problems.

“For the moment, the priority of the teams is really to restore the services, he contented himself with saying. Our teams are working to restore everything as soon as possible. »

Mr. Turcotti could not indicate a specific time around which services should be back to normal, but he said he was “hopeful that it will be restored soon”.

Desjardins had also experienced technical problems at the beginning of November. On November 3, payments at the terminals had been interrupted for a few hours.
