A network outage affected Desjardins Group call centers and certain ATMs on Tuesday morning.
The financial institution indicated on its Facebook page that it was experiencing “a problem beyond (its) control” without specifying the cause.
“Our call centers are not able to take calls and some of our ATMs do not work,” Desjardins spokesperson Jean-Benoît Turcotti said by email.
Card payments in the various businesses still work, as do the cooperative’s online services. Desjardins also invites its members and clients to turn to the AccèsD Internet and mobile platform.
Mr. Turcotti indicated that the “teams are actively working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible”.
