This is what the daily “Houston Chronicle” learned Wednesday, which reported that a transaction could be concluded by the end of the week.
Watson has been left out by the Texas team since 22 women were said to have been sexually assaulted by the 26-year-old. Ten of them pursue the pivot to the criminal.
With Davis Mills at quarterback, the Texans (1-5) have suffered a lot this season and have won only one victory, against the Jacksonville Jaguars, in the first week of operations.
The Dolphins (1-5) also can’t find their rhythm with young Tua Tagovailoa.
Watson led the NFL in 2020 with 4,823 passing yards in addition to throwing 33 touchdown passes. The Texans therefore have huge demands for a possible transaction. According to various sources, they turned down three first-round picks and three third-round picks last April.
Due to the no-trade clause associated with his contract, the quarterback will have to approve the deal.
