Lilia Bouziane pursues Damien Rieu after their tense exchange on “TPMP”
Indeed, the lawyer has just filed a complaint against Damien Rieu as confirmed by the latter on Twitter: “Bouziane complaint against me. I have become the target to be shot down by the Islamic camp, which seeks to silence me. This judicial Jihad does not scare me. I will defeat it in court as I defeated it on #TPMP“. In a long press release, Lilia Bouziane explains the reasons for this attack on her counterpart. “Dear all, I am writing to you following your feedback which has touched and moved me a lot, following my appearance on the program Touche pas à mon poste broadcast on January 12, 2023. I have decided, after reflection, to submit complaint for public defamation and provocation to hatred of religion against Mr. Damien Rieu. I have entrusted the care of the Cabinet Ex Nihilo Avocats”she announced to her community.
The jurist and columnist of “TPMP” don’t stop there and remember: “Indeed, he pronounced the word “Islamist” against me and constantly sprinkled his speech with insinuations implying that I belonged to radical movements. […] Mr. Damien Rieu found the floor on his favorite social network, Twitter, where he claimed to want to show my “true face””. The young woman of Muslim faith also assures that Damien Rieu would have maintained that she “belonged to a family of an imam expelled from French territory because of his positions, without even verifying the veracity of his remarks”. All this will now be verified and authenticated by justice.
