Many of you discovered Madame Monsieur in 2018. Emilie Satt and Jean-Karl Lucas then represented France at Eurovision with the title “Mercy”.
After a first album entitled “Vu d’ici”, released in 2019, the duo unveiled “Des gens mortals” last December. With this new project Emilie and Jean-Karl emancipate themselves from the story of others to better tell their ownputting their emotions at the heart of their creation.
Among the themes addressed, that of the madness of an era where everything is called to be commented on in real time, but also that of normality, the beauty of the ordinary and the untold story of these everyday heroes. that we all meet.
The EP also obviously immerses us in the heart of the intimacy and the feelings that animate the duo. Ultimately, this new project invites the listener to a step back and wants to be like the praise of the medium, this place where most people exist and where is, very often, poetry.
As committed as he is benevolent, he confirms the sound identity of Madame Monsieur while exposing a new facet of his work. The beginning of a new chapter that the duo will continue to write with a third album expected for 2022.
