The deputy Les Républicains Alexandre Vincendet called on Monday, April 24, on franceinfo the executive to “a coalition with the right, perhaps with a Prime Minister from the ranks of our political family”in order to get out of “immobility” resulting from the post-pension reform, and before the presentation to Parliament of the immigration bill.

“We are in a rather unprecedented institutional situation”estimated Alexandre Vincendet, pointing “a risk of immobility and therefore a risk of downgrading”. According to him, the solution to get out of this situation “can go through a coalition with the right” with the appointment of a right-wing Prime Minister to replace Elisabeth Borne.

“In any case, I call on my wishes that we stop partisanship because we have a real risk behind the arrival of the far right in power.”

Sunday evening, in an interview given to the readers of the Parisian-Today in France, Emmanuel Macron did not clarify how he intended to pass the future immigration law in the absence of an absolute majority in the National Assembly. According to the deputy of the Rhône, “it would seem incongruous that we do not vote for things that we have been defending for years, for 15 to 20 years”. Alexandre Vincendet says he wants to defend “a quota policy” immigration, “on occupations in tension”.
