Since 8 a.m. this Friday morning, CRS have been positioned in front the former Ehpad des Tourelles to the west of Toulouse, along the ring road. A hundred young unaccompanied minors have been living there for about two years. Young migrants mostly from West Africa, aged around 16.
A court decision dating from the beginning of May asked them to leave the premises. These are accompanied by the AutonoMIE collective.
A detour is in place at the Avenue du 97 avenue de Lardenne.
The town hall of Toulouse had made these places available to this former Ehpad but the CCAS of Toulouse (communal center for social action) had seized the Administrative Court of Toulouse in summary proceedings at the end of April to recover the premises. The CCAS pointed to incidents, violence in 2021 in this establishment. The young migrants had twenty days to move.
