(Montreal) Quebec filmmaker Denys Arcand will have a stamp bearing his likeness.
Canada Post will hold a ceremony at the Outremont Theater in Montreal next week to unveil the special stamp. This will go into circulation on June 28.
During the event, personalities and relatives will be present to pay tribute to the director and screenwriter.
Denys Arcand has produced several landmark films in the history of Quebec, including The Decline of the American Empireand its sequel, Barbarian invasionswhich had won an Oscar.
