Aurélien Pradié, Les Républicains (LR) deputy for Lot, was the guest of “4 Vérités” on France 2, Wednesday March 6.

Friday July 26, the opening ceremony will mark the start of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. “From the start, there have been gray areas in this organization of the Olympics, and I say that very clearly”says Aurélien Pradié, Les Républicains (LR) deputy for Lot, in the “4 Vérités” on France 2, Wednesday March 6.

“They are first of all financial. We see it over time: we discover almost every day a few million euros, here or there, which are devoted to missions that we had not previously not anticipated”explains MP LR. “The gray areas are also safe. I was one of those who, from the start, said: ‘We must have the whole truth about the security state of our country’”continues Aurélien Pradié.

“We must not spoil this Olympic celebration”

“I think we should have a commission of inquiry” on the organization of the Games, believes MP LR. “I am a supporter of the Olympics, but the task is too difficult, the unpreparedness seems so great, that we must today investigate the financial and security conditions”he continues. “I’m not saying it to be a jerk, as the expression could lead one to say it so bluntly, but I’m simply saying it because the matter is too serious, and we must not spoil this Olympics celebration”he assures.
