Co-host with Johane Despins of the weekly program specializing in food, Denis Gagné announced the news to his colleagues and to Radio-Canada’s News Department on Monday.

“After 20 years of wonderful encounters, both in the teams and with the guests who generously shared their knowledge and their passion, I feel today the desire for the vertigo of the blank page to see what will appear there”, he wrote in his message sent to management.

Luce Julien, Director General of News at Radio-Canada, added in a press release: ” The grocery store is a local magazine and Denis magnificently embodies this privileged relationship with the public which has been at the heart of the show’s success since its inception. We are very grateful to him for his involvement and his commitment to the team during all these years. »

Luce Julien added that Johane Despins would be back next fall.
