Mr. Coderre announced Tuesday his hiring by the Helios Group, a Longueuil company specializing in the management of drinking water.

“Happy to join Groupe Helios as a strategic advisor,” he posted on Facebook. “The Hélios Group is a magnificent Quebec company and a leader in the water industry that more often than not provides essential services for the regions, for several Aboriginal communities and the municipal world. »

The former politician added that “several expansion and acquisition projects in Quebec, Canada and internationally are in the pipeline” for his new client.

The professional allegiances of Denis Coderre and his refusal to reveal some of them weighed on the end of his electoral campaign last fall.

In November, after his defeat, he announced that he was leaving politics permanently.
