Collector’s motorcycles exempt
A decree imposing the technical inspection of motorized two-wheelers, applied from Monday April 15, has angered bikers. It will be mandatory but spread over time between 2024 and 2026 depending on the age of the vehicle. The technicians will notably inspect the condition of the brakes, polluting and noise emissions, the condition of the steering wheels, handlebars and mirrors, but also the functioning of the wheels and suspensions. Collector’s or competition motorcycles will be exempt from inspection. According to bikers, it is more urgent to maintain the roads.
