About thirty rallies took place in France, Saturday, July 2, for the preservation of the right to abortion. Protesters demand its inclusion in the Constitution.
Thousands of people mobilized everywhere in France, Saturday, July 2, to defend the right to abortion, in solidarity with American women. In the United States, this right was revoked in several states last week. In Lille (Nord), the demonstrators held up signs and sang slogans in favor of abortion (voluntary termination of pregnancy).
The fight is unifying. “There are men, women, young people, and even children. It mobilizes everyone”says a protester. “Nothing is solid, nothing is acquired. Everything is always to be conquered”, said another woman. One of the demands expressed in the various processions in France is inclusion in the Constitution. The goal is to make its removal much more difficult.
