For the first time, relatives of Cédric Jubillar speak out about the tragedy that struck their family: the disappearance of Delphine, the wife of this craftsman, during a night in December 2020. This is for the episode Red line from BFMTV, broadcast on May 2, 2022, that certain members share their experiences with the man currently behind bars. Indeed, he was placed in pre-trial detention in June 2021 for spousal homicide and is still there almost a year later, the justice considering to have enough elements against him for the moment. In the report, a woman mentions in particular her controversial behavior.
Regularly rubbing shoulders with Cédric Jubillar, this member of the Jubillar clan says that she saw him at home when he came to smoke cannabis which she also consumed. He often stayed for lunch, when the painter-plasterer had works in the area: “This is where I started to really discover Cédric’s true personality. Very angry. I saw him go from calm to extreme, because his brother was very frank with him. And he couldn’t stand it, that his brother could tell him things that… about his couple, his behavior, his way of speaking. He could be very aggressive in the way he spoke.”
An attitude that resembles that described by those close to Delphine, such as her uncle and aunt. They had underlined his aggressiveness with his wife but also with his children, the odious words he could hold towards his daughter Elyah. Testimonies which have taken on more importance with his psychiatric expertise which has been added to the file and which describes him as an equally angry person.
In the town of Cagnac-les-Mines where he settled with his wife Delphine and built a house which he never finished, Cédric Jubillar also had a bad reputation. One of his few friends also confided in this BFMTV report, admitting that he had a tendency to “get confused“with everyone. A troubled personality, between provocation and aggressiveness, that the prosecution lawyers believe is capable of committing irreparable damage in the face of his wife who escaped him and wanted to start a new life with another.
Cédric Jubillar remains presumed innocent of the charges against him until the final judgment of this case.
