defender Benoît Badiashile, from Limoges, is selected with the Blues

It’s a giant step in Benoît Badiashile’s football career. The player, born in Limoges in 2001is part of the next selection of the French team announced this Thursday by Didier Deschamps for the next two matches of the League of Nations.

Benoît Badiashile, aged 21 and defender of AS Monaco, is originally from the Portes Ferrées district of Limoges where he spent his early years. With his brother Loïc, who also passed through Monaco and is now a player in the Spanish 3rd division, he touched his very first balls at Limoges Foot 87. His family then moved and, a few years later, he joined the center of Malesherbes (attached to Châteauroux) before joining that of AS Monaco and then becoming a professional player with the Monegasque team.

Benoît Badiashile will be part of the 23 days selected to face Austria September 22 at the Stade de France and Denmark September 25 in Copenhagen.

At a press conference, the coach of the France team, Didier Deschamps, was able to highlight : “Benoît comes from the selection of the France Espoir team, he is a young player but in full progress. He had a very good start to the season with AS Monaco”.
