Carole Bouquet defends herself after supporting Gérard Depardieu
A few hours after this speech, it is Carole Bouquet who also reacted, four days after his signing. On her Instagram account, this Friday, December 29, the ex-partner of Gérard Depardieu indicated that he had “signed a platform for Gérard Depardieu, however”, it does not adhere to certain elements which constitute it.
“I do not support the ideas and values associated with the journalist behind this platform. Giving him visibility through Gérard makes me, as you can imagine, deeply uncomfortable”she actually clarified. Carole Bouquet did not, however, give the name of the said journalist. This having also “dismayed” some Internet users who took advantage of the artist’s publication to accuse him of “return his jacket”. However, it was Yannis Ezziadi, actor and columnist for Causeur magazine, who initiated the column. In fact, without naming him, Carole Bouquet visibly wanted to make it clear that she distanced herself from his ideas.
