That was exactly two months ago. Pierre Palmade caused a terrible accident on a secondary road near his home in Cély-en-Brie while driving under the influence of drugs. A drama that seriously injured a man and his son but also a pregnant woman who lost her baby, all were in the oncoming car hit by the famous French comedian.
Despite the seriousness of this act, Pierre Palmade, who has been a repeat offender and drug addict for decades, is today “free” although indicted for “homicide and involuntary injuries”. Justice has indeed determined that his state of health does not allow him to remain in prison pending his trial. After a stay at the Paul Brousse hospital located in Villejuif (Val-de-Marne), Pierre Palmade was transferred to the CHU Pellegrin in Bordeaux in order to be closer to his relatives and in particular his mother.
We also note that the conditions of his judicial review were modified on April 25 and that the comedian now has the right to be absent from the hospital with a few specific terms. Thus, Pierre Palmade has the right to leave the hospital on weekends and he was not asked to take advantage of this privilege. This Sunday, May 7, 2023, the comedian was seen leaving his mother’s home and walking quietly down the street to return to the hospital. Images that quickly went around the web and aroused indignation at a time when the victims are still trying to recover from the accident.

This Tuesday, May 9, 2023, Cyril Hanouna and his teams brought up the case again when Danièle Moreau uttered a huge rant: “What I find shocking is that we were told that he was injured in cause the accident, but a month later we saw him whistling taking a taxi, there, the justice told us that he was going to be under judicial control for health reasons and a month later we see him on weekends. end, that’s not possible!”
