Beware of the white paths. These irregular paths, covered with white and very dusty gravel, promise to spice up the fourth stage of the Tour de France women, Wednesday July 27. From Troyes to Bar-sur-Aube, the runners must cover 126.8 km on the roads of Aube, four segments of which are categorized as white paths. In addition to this difficulty, five climbs (two of third category, three of fourth) are on the program.
The yellow jersey, the Dutch Marianne Vos (Jumbo-Visma), must be particularly wary of Elisa Longo Borghini (Trek-Segafredo), Annemiek van Vleuten (Movistar), Chantal van den Broek-Blaak and Lotte Kopecky (SD-Worx).
