The invitation to participate in a citizen consultation panel was launched on Wednesday to all interested parties. All you need to do is be 18 years or older to register for the Hydro et moi panel and participate in the decision-making and orientations of the state-owned company.
Hydro-Québec will carry out its consultations with interested parties using Web questionnaires on topics such as expectations regarding new services or energy efficiency programs.
Last spring, 27,000 people responded to Hydro-Québec’s invitation to submit ideas and proposals on the best ways to use Québec’s renewable energy. More than 15,000 proposals had been submitted as part of this initiative called Energy in Common.
This interest encourages Hydro-Québec “to include Quebecers in our thinking throughout the year,” said Vice-President Customer Experience, Communications and Community Relations, Julie Boucher.
To participate in Hydro et moi, you must register on the company’s website. “Participating in the panel also gives you the chance to win prizes and gain access to information on upcoming Hydro-Québec projects,” specifies the government corporation.
