Deauville finds Réjane

Jean-Marie Périer, the famous photographer of Salut les Copains, and his sister Anne-Marie Périer Sardou have decided to donate the archives of their great-grandmother to the Franciscaines of Deauville.

Réjane was in her time as well known as Sarah Bernardt, and when they performed in New York or Brazil, real riots occurred that Jean-Marie Périer compares to the Rolling Stones whom he photographed a lot. Réjane was the Queen of the Boulevard, because she looked like street people and she created “Madame sans Gène”.

During this evening, Réjane’s career will be presented, with the projection of photos of the artist or family, with also extracts from the rare films in which she has played.
