In Ukraine, the death toll from the Russian strike which fell on a hypermarket on the afternoon of Saturday May 25 in Kharkiv has increased. 12 people were killed in the attack.
The store caught fire in a few minutes on Saturday May 25 in Kharkiv (Ukraine). According to the brand’s management, at least 200 customers and employees were inside when the Russians struck. “Everything went out suddenly, and debris started falling on us.”testifies Lioubov, a cleaning agent at the store.
Twelve people died, and 16 are missing. After hours of fighting the flames, the fire is now contained. Searches in the rubble will be able to begin, but the store is immense: more than 10,000 square meters of DIY and furniture. Russian authorities have destroyed a Ukrainian military warehouse and command post. A new blow for Kharkiv, where missiles continue to hit buildings, businesses and residential neighborhoods.
