Death of Pierre Mondy: this star of Plus Belle la vie to whom the famous actor was married

Hard to believe, but he left us ten years ago already. On September 15, 2012, Pierre Mondy joined the Lord at the age of 87. The actor and director, known in particular for having played Commissioner Cordier in the series of the same name, died following a recurrence of cancer of the lymphatic system. He then left behind him an immense filmography, two grown-up children, baptized Anne and Laurent, as well as several women who had shared his life in the past.

He hunted down criminals, on television, but away from film sets, it was heads that he kept turning. Charming, charming, Pierre Mondy had been married four times in total… including one with a very well-known actress, star of the series More beautiful life, broadcast on France 3. The lucky winner? Pascale Roberts – no link with Julia -, who played Wanda Legendre, the mother of Blanche Marci, for eight years. After having divorced Pierre Mondy, in 1966, the actress had rebuilt her life with the writer Pierre Rey. But she ended up reuniting with her former companion, high up in the sky, when she died of cancer on October 26, 2019.

Pascale Roberts was the second woman who said “yes” to Pierre Mondy. The actor was also married, for the first time, with Claude Gensac – unforgettable duo of Louis de Funès, in the series The Gendarmes as well as in hibernatus – from 1951 to 1955. After having lived a nice story with Pascale Robert, he succumbed to the assets of Annie Fournier, with whom he had his two children, Laurent and Anne. Then after their divorce, in 1984, he united in Cannes, to Catherine Allary in 1991. It was with another young lady, however, that he ended his sentimental journey. He may not have passed the ring on his finger, but Pierre Mondy lived five years with his assistant, Blandine, before we stopped hearing about his private life.
