One of the last three French hostages held by Hamas was declared dead this Friday, May 24. Orion Hernandez-Radoux was kidnapped during a music festival. His body was found in the Gaza Strip by the Israeli army.
Orion Hernandez-Radoux, one of the last three French hostages held by Hamas, is dead. He was 32 years old. The young Franco-Mexican was kidnapped by Hamas during the attack on October 7, 2023 while he was participating in the Nova music festival, one of the first sites attacked by the attackers.
After the announcement of his death, Prime Minister Gabriel Attal provided his support to the family of the deceased this morning of Friday May 24: “We are all upset by this announcement. I want to send my thoughts, my solidarity to his family, his friends, his loved ones”. “He really had nothing to do with this conflict, my son was just passing through Israel”, lamented his mother, Marie-Pascale Radoux, at the microphone of France 2, on February 6, 2023. Orion Hernandez-Radoux was the father of a two-year-old little girl and worked in events. His body was found in Jabaliya, a refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
