Saturday April 27, a 15-year-old teenager died, stabbed several times in Châteauroux, in Indre. A mother and her son, the same age as the victim, were arrested and taken into police custody.
Flowers and candles pile up at the foot of the building where Matisse died. In Châteauroux (Indre), the astonishment is total. The 15-year-old boy was stabbed to death on Saturday April 27 by another teenager. Three days after the tragedy, the victim’s father appealed for calm. “We are going to do things in memory of our son, so we are going to remain kind and then not go into hatred or violence of anything”, he indicated. The alleged attacker is only 15 years old. He was indicted for murder after 48 hours in police custody.
The mother also involved?
To investigators, he told investigators that he had been insulted in a first fight during which Matisse allegedly hit him, the afternoon of the murder. In front of several of his friends, the situation would have changed a few minutes later, according to the Châteauroux public prosecutor’s office. In addition, the suspect’s mother was also taken into custody. This 37-year-old woman is not known to the courts.
