As a reminder, two years after beating prostate cancer, Jean-Pierre Pernaut discovered that he was suffering from lung cancer. An illness that was cured thanks to an operation carried out in the greatest secrecy, last September. But the second lung was affected and this time, there was no question of making a new intervention, the doctors considering that it was too dangerous. He therefore had radiotherapy, but never had the opportunity to reveal if it had worked. Because last February, he underwent open-heart surgery and, following complications, he lost his life after being plunged into a deep coma.
