Less than a month after the disappearance of Grichka on December 28, 2022 and her brother Igor Bogdanoff on January 3, and while the family of the twins thanked their friends for their support, their little sister Speedwell came back in The Basin Dispatchon his relationship with his two older brothers.
The funeral of the famous scientific twins has not finished reacting to their family. After having aroused many reactions and provoked a parade of personalities at the Madeleine church in Paris, their sister Véronique gave herself up, this week, to a few secrets about the fraternal trio they formed: “We got closer and closer as we grew up. They took me everywhere, for example in a small plane from Nogaro aerodrome, to fly over the sea, since they were both pilots (…) I went back and forth to Paris. I lost my mother at 15. The twins said to me, ‘Come home'”. Two brothers who offered him “a healthy and protected environment”.
Living since 2005 in Cap Ferret, Véronique did not have the chance to receive her brothers in her seaside residence. She explained this anomaly: “They were very trendy Saint-Tropez. Igor was very fond of the ocean: he went either to Hossegor or to Lacanau with his family or friends. While he had very earthly roots, Grichka was a man of cities, libraries, a man of science, who could spend whole days looking for mathematical formulas (…) he spent his holidays for example in Bruges or Brussels .”
Véronique has never held it against her brothers, and retains such a particular attachment to these two men, to the “enveloping presence, each in their own way. They were so timeless, so apart, that their deaths don’t trigger questions about our own deaths.“.
