Actor Gaspard Ulliel died on January 19, 2022, victim of a serious skiing accident in Savoie. At the announcement of his death – and while an investigation was opened to understand the circumstances of the tragedy – the tributes were numerous especially in the 7th Art. His funeral is being held on January 27, in Paris, at the Saint-Eustache church, in the 1st arrondissement.
Gaspard Ulliel leaves behind him a fine career in cinema, hailed by millions of admissions and awards including two César. He also leaves a family bereaved by this sudden and unjust death. Her son, Orso (6), will now be raised by his mother, model Gaelle Pietri. She had met the late actor in 2013; previously the hero of Just the end of the world had dated Cécile Cassel.
