Death of Elizabeth II: Prince Harry bereaved and solo, he has already left Balmoral

The dreaded day has arrived. This Thursday, September 8, Queen Elizabeth II died at the age of 96, after having dedicated her life to the British people for more than seventy years. The disappearance of the Sovereign has plunged the United Kingdom and the whole world into a period of historic mourning. This punishment is nothing compared to that of members of the royal family. Once the press release from Buckingham Palace expressing the doctors’ concern was published, the members of the Crown rushed to Balmoral Castle in Scotland, the summer residence of Elizabeth II.

Prince Harry, present on British territory with his wife Meghan Markle to ensure charity events, unfortunately did not arrive in time. Snapshots of him arriving at Balmoral, looking gloomy, have also been revealed in the Anglo-Saxon media, as have those of William driving Andrew, Edward and his wife Sophie a little earlier. Only Charles, who must now be called King Charles III, his wife Camilla and Princess Anne were able to see Queen Elizabeth before she died.
