Earlier in the day, Prince William had flown to Balmoral via the royal family’s private plane, with his uncles Princes Edward (accompanied by his wife Sophie of Wessex) and Andrew on board. The Duchess was pictured looking drawn, picking up George, Charlotte and Louis from school.
