Emergency services attempted to revive Coolio for 45 minutes, TMZ reported Thursday. The rapper from Gangsta’s Paradise was found unresponsive in a friend’s bathroom on Wednesday.

Resuscitation maneuvers were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead.
Coolio, 59, will however briefly live again in Futurama since he had just recorded segments for the anime series a few weeks ago.
The rapper has appeared on the show before, lending his voice to a character called Kwanzaa-bot.
Hulu has ordered 20 episodes of Futurama which will be released in 2023.
