Bad news that follows: after the death of actor Sylvain Green in December, then that of his mother, actress Amarande, on March 11, here is that Brigitte Chamarande, sister of the first and daughter of the second, also told us left. Affected by bone cancer for a few months, the one who had also chosen the path of the boards lost her fight, when she had been in a coma for a few days.
A difficult period for the family of actors, in which each had a good career. Brigitte Chamarande, the youngest daughter, had notably followed her mother on the boards by also participating in the show At the theater tonight in 1978. She then continued with regular pieces presented during tours, notably in the company of Danièle Evenou.
From the end of the 1970s, she had also developed a career in the cinema, notably playing secondary roles in popular films such as The studentwith Sophie Marceau or Subway, by Luc Besson. More recently, we could see her in the film Nude Normandya comedy starring François Cluzet and François-Xavier Demaison in the role of villagers who put together a calendar of nudes to attract tourists.
A discreet but always noticed actress, Brigitte Chamarande had also held a few television roles, notably in several seasons of Diane Female Cop, Louis the Brocante or in the TV movie The Chameleon Slayer, directed by Josée Dayan with Catherine Frot and Jeanne Balibar. Often confined to supporting roles, she has nevertheless built a quality filmography.
Just like his big brother, Sylvain, who died a few months ago, at 67. He had shot in many films by director Max Pécas, renowned for his somewhat cutesy romantic comedies, in the early 80s.
