Rain of tributes from his comrades of “La Fête à la maison”
The announcement of the death of Bob Saget created a wave of excitement and tributes have been linked ever since. Marie-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who played her daughters in Home party – sitcom which was the subject of a sequel on Netflix between 2016 and 2020 – said to themselves “deeply saddened“.”Bob was the most loving, compassionate and generous man“, they believe, assuring that he”will continue to be at [leurs] sides for [les] guide as gracefully as he always has“.
The twins aren’t the only actresses in the series to speak out in the face of the terrible news. “I am devasted. I am devastated. I am completely and totally in shock. I will never have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby“tweeted John Stamos, who played the very present brother-in-law in Home party. Candace Cameron Bure, who played the oldest daughter on the show, also took to her Twitter account: “I have no words. Bob was one of the best human beings I have ever known. I loved him so much.“
In addition to his role in Home party, Bob Saget was the voice over of the narrator in the series How I met your mother and has appeared on numerous occasions, playing his own part, in Entourage, from 2005 to 2010. Born in 1956 in Philadelphia, the actor had three daughters with his first wife Sherri Kramer Saget before remarrying with Kelly Rizzo. He leaves behind three children: Aubrey, Lara Melanie and Jennifer Belle, all born of his love with his first wife.
