Yannick Alléno’s world is forever changed. The multi-starred chef, with many quality addresses and appeared several times on the show Top chef, lost one of his boys. His son, Antoine, 24, was waiting at a red light on his scooter on the evening of Sunday May 8 when a motorist hit him before fleeing. His passenger got away with it, the young chef was not so lucky: “It is with deep sadness that Chef Yannick Alléno, his mother Isabelle, his brother Thomas, his family, as well as the teams of the Yannick Alléno Group inform you of the death of their son, brother, colleague and friend, Antoine, victim of a road accident which occurred on the night of May 8 in Paris. In this painful period, the Alléno family and their loved ones are very sensitive to the kindness and understanding of all, while respecting their privacy.“said the Alléno family in a press release.
These few words were necessary but not sufficient for Thomas, Antoine’s older brother. The two sons, accomplices, shared much more than a brotherly bond since they accompanied their dad in the kitchen. So he had no choice but to pay him his own tribute on his Instagram account: “My brother… My love… My double… My life… I will miss you very much. Words fail me to tell you how much I love you and how proud I am of you, of the man you were… You leave a huge void behind you, I love you so much“wrote the young man in the caption of a snapshot of the two brothers together.
