The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) arrested a man in his twenties in connection with the death of a man that occurred after a violent argument in a strip bar in Terrebonne last Friday.
It was the Department for the Investigation of Crimes Against the Person which arrested a 25-year-old man from Laval. He was met by investigators on Sunday and should appear Monday at the Laval courthouse.
“The suspect turns out to have been involved in the altercation with the victim and in which he also suffered injuries,” specifies the SQ.
A fight broke out around 2:30 a.m., shortly before the doors of the O’Gascon nude dancer bar, located on Chemin Gascon in Terrebonne, in Lanaudière, closed.
Jessy Furtado-Bénard, 32, succumbed to her injuries at the end of this bloody argument. Another person was seriously injured.
According to our information, the deceased would have been linked to Jean-Philippe Célestin, considered by the authorities as an important player in Montreal organized crime.
