(Montreal) A 25-year-old man was charged Monday with second-degree murder in connection with a fatal fight in a licensed establishment in Terrebonne, in Lanaudière.
The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) affirms that it is Sébastien Leduc, from Laval.
According to the SQ, he was involved in the fight which left one person dead and one person seriously injured at the O’Gascon Gentlemen Club in Terrebonne on Friday. The victim who lost his life is Jessy Furtado-Bénard, 32 years old.
In a press release, the provincial police force specified that the man was arrested Sunday around noon and that he was then met by investigators.
The murder occurred around 2:30 a.m. last Friday near the O’Gascon Gentlemen Club, a licensed establishment located on Chemin Gascon in Terrebonne.
