Photos and videos posted on social networks show dozens of homes completely destroyed and vehicles crushed. At least five people were killed in the central United States due to numerous tornadoes that swept across part of the Great Plains, local authorities said on Sunday.
Tornado season
Nearly a hundred tornadoes were recorded, mainly in Iowa and Nebraska. Many injuries were also reported and a state of emergency was declared. Clearing operations continue.
